PhD Programs
Doctoral programs offer the opportunity to earn a doctorate as part of a research program and a structured qualification concept. The focus of the doctoral programs is on educating doctoral students in promising research topics and supporting them in their personal career development and scientific independence. In addition, the programs promote early networking, internationalization, and interdisciplinary cooperation among doctoral students.
PhD Programs of the KIT
Currently, there are more than 20 doctoral programs at the KIT. A list of all current programs can be found here.
Support and Monitoring of Initiatives of Structured PhD Programs
The quality of the promotion of early-stage researchers is one of the key criteria for the allocation of national funding. Together with the KIT Research Office (FOR), we actively advise and support research training groups, graduate schools, collaborative research centers, KIT schools, clusters, etc. in the application processes. Furthermore, we will be glad to support you with site inspections - participation on our part has proved successful.
Please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Stefan Götze.
