Schrift "Postdoc Appreciation Week"

During the ▶ Postdoc Appreciation Week Germany, universities and research institutions from all over Germany offer lectures, talks, further education and networking events. This year, the celebratory event for postdoctoral researchers will take place from September 21 to September 25.

▶ KHYS Postdoc Office frequently hosts several online events in the framework of the Postdoc Appreciation Week. All of our online events are also open for young researchers outside KIT, who are participating in the Postdoc Appreciation Week Germany. Likewise, young researchers from KIT will have access to further events offered by several research institutions and universities in Germany.

Lecture | Funding Options for Postdocs

In this online lecture, our expert Nina Rind from KIT's Research Office (FOR) will introduce you to the most important funding schemes in the postdoc phase and present available services for postdocs at KIT in this regard. However, the main focus of her talk will be on funding options with a view to your next career stage.

In this lecture, you will get to know the possibilities of becoming a postdoc at KIT, the offers and services that are available to you as a postdoc, and how you can use this important qualification phase well for yourself and your career. In addition, you will learn about services and support structures for incoming international scientists and will be introduced to KIT´s funding program for international postdocs that will qualify you for a successful academic career.

However, value-based individuals having invested so much time and effort into their educational career in most cases strive for developing a modern, humanistic and at the same time-efficient style for taking over responsibilities in their careers. There are fascinating findings that make it easier and more fruitful to go that way!
