Recipients Joachim Breitner, Axel Loewe and Susanne Carina Solleder distinguished themselves with their outstanding research achievements and received the award from the hands of Vice President Oliver Kraft.

The third KIT PhD Days will take place from March 14th to 17th, 2017. This event is targeted at all doctoral researchers at KIT and at those interested in doing a PhD. The motto is INFORMATION — ORIENTATION — NETWORKING. Presentations, panel discussions and workshops — partly in English — will provide participants with insights concerning the diverse aspects of doing a PhD. There is also plenty of opportunity to network and share experiences.

The prize is awarded for an outstanding thesis (dissertation, diploma or master thesis) of a female researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The prize is awarded by the Soroptimist Club Karlsruhe. A thesis is eligible if it was evaluated between December 1, 2014 and November 30, 2016. The application deadline is February 24, 2017.

Das KIT bietet Frauen und Männern die Möglichkeit, nach Zeiten der Kinderbetreuung wieder erfolgreich in der Wissenschaft Fuß zu fassen.
Weiterqualifizierungs- und Kontaktstipendien können bis zum 07. Februar 2010 beantragt werden.
Nicht promovierte Diplom-Geowissenschaftler können sich bis zum 15. Februar 2010 für den Bernd Rendel-Preis der DFG bewerben.
Bis zum 15. Februar 2010 können herausragende wissenschaftliche Arbeiten im Bereich europäische Verkehrswissenschaften vorgeschlagen werden.
Bis zum 15.05.2010 können abgeschlossene Promotionen aus dem Jahr 2009 in Eigenbewerbung oder Nominierung durch einen Betreuer beim KHYS eingereicht werden.
Das Förderinstrument geht interessanten Befunden in Master-, Diplom- und Doktorarbeiten nach. Der Abgabetermin für die Ausschreibung im internen Wettbewerb ist der 29. März 2010, 15.00 Uhr.
Bis zum 01. Februar 2010 können noch Bewerbungen für den Bertha Benz Preis bei Jana Schmitt eingereicht werden.
