Surveys of Postdocs at KIT

The KHYS conducts regular surveys of postdocs at KIT approximately every three to four years.

The questionnaires cover, among other things, various aspects related to

• working conditions and job duties
• support from supervisors
• career prospects and support from KIT
• qualification and competency development
• balancing family life with the postdoc phase
• good scientific practice.

The primary goals of the surveys are to create optimal conditions for further academic careers and to provide appropriate support for the academic development and independence of postdoctoral researchers.
