[ONLINE-SEMINAR] Navigating the German and European research funding landscape

This workshop will be held in English.

 

This introductory workshop to research funding provides an overview of the German and European research funding system. It focuses on funding opportunities available at the advanced doctoral and early postdoctoral stage and how to approach them.

 

By participating in workshop, participants will be better equipped to

- recognise the opportunities and challenges associated with external research funding,

- understand what makes a fundable research project,

- identify funding opportunities for different research settings,

- respond more effectively to the competitive nature of the evaluation process,

- build a research grant track record.

 

Methods

This compact workshop employs theory input, plenary discussions, individual and small group work as well as expert advice.

 

There will be a 1.5 hour prepartory E-Learning prior to the workshop.

 

This workshop will be held in English.

 

The workshop is open to KHYS members at KIT who are postdocs or doctoral researchers interested in becoming a postdoc.

 

Technical requirements: To participate in this workshop, you need a stable internet connection, a webcam and a microphone. Participants will receive further detailed information regarding the online-platform prior to the workshop.
