KHYS

Supporting Junior Researchers at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)

The Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) serves as a platform for communication and interaction for all KIT junior researchers. It is aimed at both doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers up to two years after completion of their PhD.

The KHYS is a central service unit that provides doctoral students with advice and assistance and supports them from the beginning of their thesis right through to their successful PhD graduation. Doctoral students can also turn to the KHYS for help with their further career planning. It is a university-wide umbrella institution that covers all structures involved in the promotion and support of junior researchers. The services offered by the KHYS emphasize the high priority placed on junior researchers at the KIT.
