The Award for Outstanding Doctoral Research Work
With their research achievements, junior researchers make a significant contribution to the success of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Their work reflects the wide range of research options available at the KIT.
The Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) awards outstanding doctoral research work within the KIT areas of competence with the KIT Doctoral Award. In doing so, the KHYS emphasizes the high priority placed on junior researchers at the KIT.
Availability and Remuneration
Currently the award is not announced. We will inform you at this place, as soon as it is announced again. The award carries a total value of 12,000 Euros, with a prize of 2000 Euros awarded for outstanding doctoral research work in each KIT area of competence.
Important Facts about the KIT Doctoral Award at a Glance
- You must have done your doctorate at KIT.
- The doctoral studies must have been completed in the previous calendar year.
- The application had to be submitted to the KHYS. Please contact Jana Schmitt.
- The awards ceremony takes place at the Academic Anniversary Celebration.
