KIT PhD Days 2018

INFORMATION — ORIENTATION — NETWORKING

From Monday, September 24, to Thursday, September 27, 2018, KIT will hold its fourth KIT PhD Days and therefore cordially invites all doctoral researchers at KIT as well as all students interested in doing a doctorate to attend this event. According to the theme INFORMATION — ORIENTATION — NETWORKING, the KIT PhD Days will offer a large number of presentations and workshops — partly held in English — about the various aspects of doing a doctorate at KIT.

The KIT PhD Days will be officially opened on Monday afternoon with an event on scientific integrity (in German).

On Tuesday, you will have the chance to hear a number of presentations on topics important for doing a doctorate at KIT and about the manifold services offered by KIT to support your research. You will also be able to informally meet and chat with colleagues from other departments at the Young Scientists´ Café throughout the day. The Welcome event for doctoral researchers on Tuesday evening will give you plenty of information on how to best profit from the doctoral research period at KIT.

In the second half of the KIT PhD Days on Wednesday and Thursday we offer a number of appealing workshops. These aim at supporting your personal orientation before or during the doctoral research phase as well as further developing your transferable skills.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the KIT PhD Days 2018!

Date and venue:

Monday, September 24, to Thursday, September 27, 2018.

The events will take place on KIT Campus South, Senatssaal (Bldg. 11.30), Audimax (Bldg. 30.95), KHYS (Bldg. 30.96) and AVG (Bldg. 50.41)

We would like to also use this opportunity to thank our collaborators for their contributions to and support for organizing the fourth KIT PhD Days.
