This workshop specifically aims to develop your project management skills for projects in industry. It is targeted at persons with no or little knowledge in project management and focusses on the classical project management approach. It introduces to basic tools and terms as Phase Planning, Workbreakdown Structure, Operation List and Gantt Diagram, includes case studies, IT-tools and a glimpse of new trends such as agile project management.

Participants will be actively involved and work on different tasks throughout the workshop.

Major Topics of the seminar:

  • Definition: What is a project?
  • Starting and organizing projects
  • Project planning by using basic tools (Workbreakdown Structure, Phases, Milestones, Gantt Diagram)
