Writing successful ERC starting grant applications

Are you a junior researcher? Your PhD has been awarded at least 2, but not more than 7 years ago? You have a groundbreaking project idea that you would like to pursue with your own project team? Then the funding program of the European Research Council might be just right for you.

Training objectives
To provide researchers with a good understanding of:

  • the evaluation criteria and how to address these by using a logic tree for project development;
  • what makes an excellent PI according to the reviewers of the different domains/panels;
  • how to use the logic tree for grant writing to write a competitive scientific proposal considering panel specifics and type of project.

 

The seminar will be in English. The trainer will provide practical information and discuss the requested information, the evaluation criteria, and the best strategy for drafting the proposal with the participants.

Limited participation capacity (20).

Target Group: Applicants for upcoming call ERC-2020-StG (deadline Oct. 2019)

!!! Condition for participation: brief project abstract (1 page) + CV + track record !!!
