Who we are

The Doktorandenkonvent of the Department of Physics was launched at 30th of March 2015 with the passage of our Geschäftsordnung. It is a new council at KIT, which includes all PhD students enrolled in the Department of Physics. The Doktorandenkonvent has (based on LHG §38(7)) the right to have a guest chair in the faculty council and can give statements to all questions relating to the PhD students.

The management of the Doktorandenkonvent of Physics currently consists of five PhD students, elected for one year: Alexander Heidelbach (ETP), Caroline Fengler (ETP), Isabel Haide (ETP), Gabriella Wallentin (IMK-TRO), Lucas Kunz (ITP).
